Mid-Week Snippets

It’s Wednesday already? This week’s going by like last week did. It’ll be Saturday before you know it (and time to play some D&D for me, anyway).

So here’s another group of shorter stories we found over the past few days we wanted to pass along.

After the break, we’ve got announcements about several Kickstarters launching next week (Titan-Forge, Wizard Dodgeball, Ghost Train Games, and Schrodinger’s Cats), some new renders from the ATER Kickstarter, Gioconomicon’s Giocomics now available in English, a new WIP from Escenografia Epsilon, a new release from Brother Vinni, a New Military History: Medieval Wargame How To Play posted, some new WIPs from Abyss, Archimina launched their Kickstarter campaign, and finally, some new concept art from John Kovalic for a secret project he’s working on.

Titan Forge Announces Next Kickstarter

January 23rd is coming soon and we have some information about our new KS. It will be Sci-Fi miniatures project with not one but two armies. One of them will be X-Terra Space Force with new units, vehicles and heroes. They will try to survive siege of Lords from Daemonic Kingdom and their legions.

First Lord that will come to X-Terra is Lord of Fury and he will bring nothing but blood and destruction.

Gioconomicon’s Giocomics Now Available in English

Giocomics, the comic strips of the Italian web-magazine Gioconomicon, by Stefano Castelli and Alan D’Amico, becomes international as it is now translated in English!

With their obsessions and funny habits, Klaus (the German), Bob (the American) and Marco (the Italian) embody the typical gamers profiles. They live their gaming passion, and comment about what’s new and what’s going on in the gaming world. Giocomics is hosted on Gioconomicon.net, the Italian gaming magazine born in 2004.
Stefano Castelli, a devoted gamer and author of boardgames such as Turandot and C.O.A.L.: Combat-Oriented Armored League, writes the lines of the strips; Alan D’Amico, sculptor, illustrator and artist for several boardgames (such as Kingsport Festival, Blue Max, and Everzone) is the author of the drawings.

New WIP from Escenografia Epsilon

We are very happy to show you the first Russian church photos. This item will be available the next month. This is the first element designed to Carlos Elias Llop a new epsilon designer. We are very happy with this great job.

New Military History: Medieval Wargame How To Play posted

Minefield Games has published on its website the second part of How To Play the game Medieval Wargame. How To Play aims to present the rules for new players and present the differences between it and other games. At the same time we are working on the creation of How To Paint a game that is created in collaboration with Vallejo, which is present painting miniatures for the game.

Military History: Medieval Wargame is a wargame in which players demonstrate medieval armies on a scale of 20 and 28mm.

New Bust WIPs from Abyss

Jason hasn’t been sculpting for a very long time yet but as you see, he is quite a natural talent being self taught. In the beginning he made all sorts of awesome sculpts BUT!…. He also squashed quite a lot of them!!! He simply re-used the clay on a new sculpt to practice more. This means that a lot of the sculpts he did last year are no more…

However, and I hope he finds more, ther have been some refugees! Below you see the ones he has found hiding. Let us all just hope more were wise enough to escape and will one day return to us!

Archimina Launches Terrain Kickstarter

Ghost Train Games Announces Kickstarter Relaunch

We’re happy to announce our Kickstarter campaign, which will go live on Wednesday 20th January.

During these days we will provide with more details, teases and updates and a couple days before the 20th we will publicly share the campaign so you can check out with time ahead which pledges better fits you. Stay tuned and spread the word!

9th Level Games Announces Schrodinger’s Cats Kickstarter

Schrödinger’s Cats is a strategic, card game for 2-6 players. In Schrödinger’s Cats players run experiments, form hypotheses, and try to one-up each other’s research in an attempt to determine the minimum number of alive cats, dead cats, or empty boxes in Schrödinger’s lab.

Wizard Dodgeball Coming Back to Kickstarter

Mind the Gap Studios is bringing Wizard Dodgeball back to Kickstarter on Jan 23rd. The relaunch campaign will run for 60 days with a goal of $25k and includes:
– new art for the wizard stat cards
– stretch goals for new spell art and an extra set of dice (so you don’t have to share)

The relaunch will coincide with Mind the Gap Studios’ booth (1190) at PAX South in San Antonio, TX.

New Concept Art from John Kovalic

Can I tell you what these are for? No. No, I cannot.

But it will rock!
